2019 Student Requirements

CRECHE: Ages 1 to 3 ½

Each child in crèche (all clothing to be labelled with the child’s full name) will be required to:

  1. Have age appropriate clothes
  • Play is part of your child’s education. At times clothing becomes dirty. There please put an additional set of clothing and underwear into your child’s school bag / case every day.
  • Children need to dress according to the season or weather for the day.
    • Check the weather each day for the next day
    • Normal summer (warn days) dress code : t-shirt and shorts
    • Normal winter (cold days) dress code : long pants / track suits, warn top, jersey
    • Rainy weather : rain coat
  • No expensive clothing, tight clothes preventing mobility or fancy dress clothes.
  1. Diapers and underwear
  • 8 diapers and barrier cream are required daily in the child’s bag / case.
  • In addition, in the event of diapers running out, each child is to have 2 cloth nappies which are left at the school for such an emergency
  • Children who are being potty trained need to bring 4 diapers and 5 underpants or panties to school every day
  1. Sun Hat
  • Each child needs to have a wide brimmed sun hat
  • No caps allowed / No peak caps
  • No child will be permitted to play outside without a hat
  • All hats will be kept at the school
  1. Diary
  • Your child’s teacher will write in this diary, reporting, daily happenings where necessary and up coming school events.
  • Parents are welcome to communicate to teachers through this dairy.
  1. Face Cloth
  • You child needs to have a face cloth for cleaning hands, washing his or her face and minor emergencies.
  • The face cloth will be left at the school and washed regularly.
  1. Toiletries to be brought to the school at the start of each term:
  • 80 wet wipes
  • 1 box of tissues
  • 1 box of nappy sacks
  • 3 toilet rolls

GRADES 000 & 00: Ages 3 ½ to 5 ½
